Following the issuance of letters allocating home plots, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has ordered the revocation of allotments to those who have not made a deposit of funds.
According to authorities with knowledge of the situation, CEO Ritu Maheshwari reportedly gave instructions to compile a list of the 50 biggest defaulters and revoke their allocations. People who received allotments were required to pay dues based on the size of the plot, so those who received larger allotments owe the most.

The residential plots program was introduced by GNIDA in January of this year, and on April 21 allotment letters were sent to 156 individuals following an online auction.

The CEO recently issued a clear directive ordering the immediate cancellation of allotments for those allottees who have not yet submitted the required amount of money. Additionally, the CEO has instructed to compile a list of 50 major defaulters who have not paid the Greater Noida Authority’s debts and annul their allotments.
The department is compiling a list of them, and a campaign against them will shortly begin.

According to the source, Maheshwari has also ordered that allotments made to people who purchased the property for industrial use but did not erect the projected unit within the allotted time be canceled. The plots that were abandoned after cancellation will be distributed once more by being incorporated into new plans.
